Triathalon Mami

Miamian Cristina Ramirez is training for triathlons but is very concerned about the dangers that are present for cyclists on South Florida roadways, especially the Rickenbacker Causeway. That concern led to a recent meeting with the Mayor of Key Biscayne that she describes in Meeting the Mayor.

Triathlon Mami uses the Blogger platform and has been active since May of this year.


Fat Girl Hedonist

The French Toast at 660 at The Angler's is some real awesome and Fatgirl Hedonist captures it on film perfectly. The restaurant's version of Eggs Benedict is also rather special. Don't venture to this blog if you're the least bit hungry.

My friend went with their Benedicto; their take on eggs benedict with short rib, tomato salsa and scallion hollandaise on a Cuban roll. The eggs benedict also come with a side of papitas and mixed green salad. The eggs were perfectly poached, the short rib was well seasoned and ridiculously tender.

Miami Nice

I'm going to give Miami Nice another mention in the Friday Blog Notes for their nice post on Panther Coffee.


How Was Your Day, Dan?

Former Real World: Miami cast member Dan Renzi still lives in South Florida and blogs about his life here. A neighbor on Miami Beach recently had his bike stolen after locking it to a palm tree. The thief cut down the palm tree and took the bike. Dan posts pictures of the aftermath in a post suitably titled, "Miami Sucks!"
